Low fuel pressure

Low fuel pressure. Couldn’t find anyone with fuel pressure as low as mine so now I’m here. Driving down the highway and felt the car jump forward for a 2nd and go limp. Hpfp peaked at 48psi at 2psi before I had to let off the gas. Won’t go above 48psi at idle or anything. Is this a fprv or the hpfp going out? Or is there something else I should be looking for

Could be either. What oil and fuel are you running?

mobil 1 5w30 and pump 93

It's either spill valve stuck or internals stuck most likely. Best get to cleanin and check for sticky. If your oil doesn't have a DEXOS cert you might want to consider changing it.

46psi on that pick and itfp is 60 right? should be seeing that at least. check what enki said hopefully your itfp isn't dead too

IIRC the ITFP can be run between 40 and 60 depending on demand.

Exactly. Your running on in tank fuel pressure you need to disassemble and clean the hpfp
