Master Cylinder Brace

Have you ever made a master cylinder brace before? Noticed a lot of master cylinder movement when bleeding brakes on my speed3. Curious if something like this could be possible.

I know some guys have talked about this before, but does anyone have any video of how much the brake booster & master cylinder flex while the pedal is being compressed?

No video. I noticed movement when my wife was helping me bleed the brakes. Enough movement for me to take notice. Maybe a couple millimeters give or take.

this is something I could look into here while I still have access to a speed 3 for another week or 2. I can look tonight.

The placement of the master cylinder relative to the shock tower makes it impossible to have a brace that bolts onto the shock tower. With the engine out, I had my shop weld a reinforcement plate onto the firewall, we will see how it works once the car is up and running in 2029. More details about the plate here.
