I definitely am interested in seeing pics of it installed.
Same here. I'm especially interested in Dyno/VDyno comparisons that show the results using identical tunes/ambient conditions/etc. so that we can see what, exactly, the ST IM adds by itself by controlling for the other variables.

Yeah, I've seen a couple. I would just like to see more, especially with a variety of different setups, turbo choices, etc.
 
I just want this for the balanced flow, and hopefully less heat-soak. Any power gains are just a plus, and will be compounded with a better turbo down the road.

Any info on gen 1, I figure it will require under route hot pipe and a little adjustment to the cold side.

Gen1 is in testing. Under route piping is your best bet, and for now you're on your own for cold side.

Yeah, like that. Do you have the guy's exact mod list? I'd also like to see comparisons with different combinations of bolt-on's, or perhaps on a stock car (but there may not be much benefit there). What can I say? I'm a big fan of Data (both ST:TNG and from Mazdaspeeds :D).

Realistically, no way to cover every mod combination out there. We did this one to make believers of people. Beyond this we're going to have to stick to "your mileage will vary."
I did know his exact mods, but didn't document them. I also think it doesn't matter, as every car is different. He has an S4, and he runs meth, the rest is details.

I agree there is not much benefit on a stock car.

The data they got from Justin is pretty clear to me. He even exported the data to show horsepower difference at each RPM and you could see that above 400 whp in the high RPM's (where airflow is highest) was where the manifold provided a clear benefit, and below, it was pretty negligible. For those running smaller or stock turbos, the primary benefit of this manifold will be the port injection IMO.

I agree, for the most part. The one datapoint that I'd like to see is logged boost. It'd be enough for me if they said something along the lines of "installation of the DM manifold didn't appreciably impact boost levels," or something to that effect. Honestly, I don't have any firsthand experience regarding if/how boost can be affected by a different IM.

Having said this, I do have firsthand experience of seeing how a different exhaust affects boost level on the exact same tune. I gained 35-40whp going from 2.5" exhaust to full 3" exhaust with my BNR S3. And part of my gains were due to the fact that I was averaging 1-1.5psi more on the exact same tune. Ruling out potential boost variations strengthens the data in the sense that we would know that the power difference is exclusively attributed to the IM itself.

Additionally, having precise temperature/humidity measurements at the time of dyno pulls would add further strength beyond "back-to-back data taken hours apart." It'd be cool if we could look at the actual datalogs themselves, but I understand intellectual property, etc.
