MS3 Drag Racing

I’m setting up my CrackSpeed3 for the upcoming 200 meter drag race tournament next month. Been working on setting up the following:
1. Current suspension has Blitz ZZR coilovers - raised the rear up to max allowable and it’s still a bit too low. Will be swapping out the garbage 4kg 180mm springs to 210mm 8kg - need to raise and stiffen up the rear to keep the front end planted.
2. Just slapped on a pair of 265/35/18 drag radials and zero’d out the camber. Glad the ZZR coilovers came with adjustable camber plates
3. Engine mounts - just installed JBR 88 Track/strip rear/passenger and transmission mounts. Jeezus all that noise So much more solid on the launch, the street vibrations and noise don’t bother me at all
4. Exhaust - waiting on the CS front 3.5” down pipe. I will be fabbing up my own 3.5” exhaust and soon as the DP arrives.
5. Fuel - installed the CS HPFP internals
6. Intercooler - waiting both JBR intercooler piping. Will be using a Greddy Type R FMIC that I had laying around in the garage.
7. Intake - ordered a Cobb turbo inlet pipe
8. Pending install of the following parts: EGR delete, balance shaft delete/baffle plate.
9. Boost Control: HKS EVC7 and CS 3.5 bar MAP sensor
10. ECU Tuning - Cobb V3 Accessport
11. Fuel grade - one of my local gas station carries 103 RON rated pump gas for about $1.10 a liter
12. Methanol, this will be tested out once I get everything sorted with the above states mods. Got an AEM Water/Meth Kit 30-3300 sitting in my garage
13. Engine oil: using my favorite 5W-50 Motul 300V
14. Current turbo is a stock high flowed turbo from a local turbo build shop. Not sure what the specs are but it’s got a really nice response and top end power.
Clutch: currently has a JDM MazdaSports street clutch. Planning to upgrade to a Southbend Level 3 or a XM Street Plus twin plate. Need to figure out which one soon

I didn't see a protune from Freek or PD on that list. And, any particular reason why you're running a 50w oil with this platform? Not too often you see an actual JDM speed in the wild, are you Navy/Marines based over there currently?
 
The HKS EVC thing is pointless since you have the accessport, you likely can't use both and the accessport is going to be infinitely more useful - especially since you will need a custom tune in order to get the car to run properly with those mods.

oh yes please don't run a secondary electronic boost controller on these cars as the ECU can make the stock one and a pro tune will take care of it

I was mistaken oil is Motul 300V 5W40
Been looking for a tuner to do an E-tune. Any recommendations? And yeah I was planning on yanking out the HKS BC before getting an E-tune.
It’s been about 15 years since I played with a MS3. I’m a R35 GTR, 400Z and 2JZ kinda guy, but I really want to put this out on the drag strip for a different experience ?

Currently the stock EVC is disconnected after installing the HKS EVC but plan on reverting back to the stocker.

tuners go with freektune or purple drank, both Justin and will respectively are amazing. Justin races his gen1 and 2 ms3 for the world's quicest 1/4mile ms3 and I think will tuned the second fastest one.

please stay away from dramatune he's got a cult following on Facebook that I don't understand there's a thread in the off topic section about many issues over the years.
