Good evening (or whatever time it is) to all. Over the last few weeks I've been taking on a lot more projects that I've been meaning to get to. For a while I was working on some, but then I had to move across the country, so a lot of them got postponed, one of which happens to be making wiring harness diagrams for the coil and fuel injector harnesses.
The intent behind these is for end users to be able to make their own wiring harnesses. With that, I am working on a bill of materials as well (hence the reference designators that are used throughout the diagrams). That will come later in this thread as a separate post, as tracking down a lot of these part numbers is a tedious process.
As a disclaimer, I verified these on my own 2008 Mazdaspeed3 as of the date I am posting this thread. These diagrams are accurate to the best of my abilities. A little bit of my background, I currently work (and have for the last four years) as a microsoldering technician, which is just a fancy phrase for saying I "weld" tiny circuits. That being said, I am by no means perfect in any sense in the world of electronics, I just happen to work with them a bit. If you see any improvement that can be made, please let me know. All that said: do not take these wiring diagrams as gospel. They're to be used at your own discretion, and I'm not liable for any potential damages that may be done. Please quadruple check all of my work as well as your own before committing new harnesses to your vehicle.
