Need Advice on Tuning VVT Table for Faster Turbo Spool.

Hey guys, so I've been trying to play with my VVT table on my Gen 2 Mazdaspeed 3 to spool my turbo faster, but I've not been having any luck with it, hoping someone can help:

Referring to the above comparison graphs, both logs ran at around the same date/time/conditions. With the difference being 10 degrees of VVT (15 vs 25). Basically, no change in spool time across the entire RPM range (3k-5k) hitting peak boost at 4.5k rpm (21psi). I've also tested VVT at 30 degrees and the results are basically the same too, no difference in spool time, in fact I felt that at VVT 30 degrees the car actually felt slower during spool time. WGDC is also set at 100% up until 4000 rpm, then 40% at 4500rpm.

Is there something wrong with my MS3 or is the above to be expected of my setup?

Mods to name a few:
CS Intake Manifold
CS Exhaust Manifold
CST5 Turbo (Journal Bearing + IWG)
Stock Camshafts

Have you adjusted WGDC at the same time as VVT adjustments?

Have you changed any boost target levels?

My commanded boost targets / load targets are much higher than 'actual'. WGDC is at 100% (from 3k-4k rpm, and 40% at 4.5k to avoid boost spikes). On my boost table I'm targeting 21psi at 4000rpm, and 18psi at 3500rpm (on boost tune). I don't think boost/load targets are the issue here.

Wondering if anyone with a Big Turbo has any before/after comparison graphs with advancing VVT and by how much degrees, so I can have an idea of what results to expect, maybe my VVT isn't high enough? I've heard 35 degree max, but after seeing no difference between 15 and 25 and 30 VVT, I decided not to try 35
