Need help, extremely rich A/f, rough idling, and lots of white smoke (data logs attached)

Turbo could could be unaffected in performance by the seals. In fact, you can have a turbo with no shaft play and bad seals. That being said, the main reason they fail is due to an unhealthy PCV system. Have you replaced your PCV valve?

Unfortunately you can never be 100% certain on the cause. But your symptoms and historical problems with these cars are all pointing to a very likely candidate.

Yes I changed the pcv valve when the problem occurred and also upgraded the injector seals because i thought my injectors seals were the cause of the issue. But your answers make alot of sense with how my car is running like how u mentioned excessive crank case pressure. When i put the old oem cat (which was clogged with dirt and who knows what) and started it for the first time my theory is that the bad cat caused to much pressure in the turbo and made the seals go to shit after that there was oil in my intake and the smoke started showing up. So guess its time for a new turbo, honestly dont know what else it could be.

Hey Woodzms3, did you ever figure out your problem? I'm also going through the same thing right now I've replaced a few things also and my last resort is a new turbo.

I recently determined the cause of the smoke at idle, at least for my speed3. I've got a mechanic buddy here in SoCal who helped me accomplish a leak down test to determine whether it was the turbo seals or a bad ring. Unfortunately, cylinder 3 failed, I now have to get that ring replaced.
