Hello,

Just bought a '12 Stock MS3. Planning on modding it a bit and possibly Autocrossing it. My first car ever was a grandma gold '94 626 V6 that I used to autocross and fell in love with Mazda back then. Still had it when the first MS6 came out and that made a Mazdaspeed my dream car for the last decade. Finally got one and can't wait to play with it a bit.

First order of business once I sell my old car will be to remove the sticker, possibly repaint hood if there's a color difference under the sticker, add new clear bra, and fix a gash that's in the drivers side rear door.

Anyone in the Colorado area have a body shop recommendation? Had it quoted at 2 already and just the gash fix will be about $800.

Welcome. I don't have a recommendation, but I do have a warning. Don't use Bear Creek Autobody, they do terrible work.

Where abouts are you located? I'm in Littleton.

tapatalk, it sucks

I'll be moving to Broomfield next weekend. Grew up in Littleton though. Went to Dakota Ridge and my parents house is near it.
There is a pretty good group up north and a pretty good group South. I'm right in the middle which is why we have install meats at my house.

@Wildcat I'd come but I'm moving up to Broomfield this weekend. Also, just afraid of not taking off sticker and the paint fading, then having to re-paint the whole front end. It's already starting to peel at the tip of the hood.

Thanks for the invite.

Welcome! Use a hair dryer or heat gun to warm the vinyl, and it will peel off. Then claybar and a coat of wax will get it set up.
