PGH--MS3

Hi all. I'm not "new" to the Mazda or Speed game. Just been out of the loop for a while. I'm the original owner of an '09 CWP MS3, and had an '05 MZ3 sedan before that. Never had much done to the MS3 in the past other than intake, cat-back, rims etc.
In August of 2015, with around 86,000 miles, the turbo started smoking and got considerably worse to the point where it was an embarrassment to drive the car. I tried the tricks such as the restrictor bolt, thicker oil, etc, but nothing helped. Eventually it was easier for me to get a new daily driver (2015 Focus with the 1.0L 3-banger Ecoboost with 6-speed, yes it's slow as hell, but gets decent mileage and no premium needed) than to deal with a turbo swap.
Three years later, I'm finally accumulating the parts for the Corksport Turbo upgrade. I'm aiming for a safe/reliable tune, maybe around 320ish whp.
I also will be upgrading to C/S fuel pump internals, 3.5" C/S intake (i know it's prob over-sized for the C/S turbo, oh well), C/S TMIC (I know FMIC is better but I don't feel like dealing with piping). I already have the CNT cat-back, a test pipe, but I'm torn on which downpipe to go with. Really wanting a catted DP, but of course the most affordable CNT dp is backordered with no eta in sight. The C/S catted dp is a beautiful piece, and the divorced wg path doesn't concern me because I never plan on going larger after the C/S turbo, but $580 is a tough pill to swallow for a pipe.
I'm hoping within the next month to have the install done, in time to get the Mazz out for a few months of enjoyment before winter strikes again.
Sorry for the rambling haha.
