Hey everyone,

Ive been lurking forums for my while life and thought it might be time i contribute and ask some questions myself. Speed 6 owner, once owned two until i ripped one apart. Currently working on a full engine build for my beautiful red speed6. As seen in my profile pic, it has a dark past but i plan on giving it a brighter one. Its getting a fully built block with a nice bnr s3 soon enough once i build this block.

Any experienced engine builders here i can refer to?

Nice! Any good tracks around the Mississauga region? Theres not much here up in Ottawa from what I know.

Plenty of tracks around here! I have my thread with some on track footage. I also believe there are a ton of good ones around Montréal?

Never really looked as the ms6 will be my first race car. Im sure they have tons though.
 
Welcome to MSO! I just left Ontario spent a few years in Kingston, if you're looking for tracks in the area shannoville does some cheap test and tune night and I used to go down there to get runs in nice little track.

If you're looking for a local engine builder there's a shop in Peterborough that most of the guys in the GTA use that's proven pretty reliable over the years (I'd have to get you the name). If you're willing to ship and wait then yes overspeed is good but they've got a wait list going as so many orders in right now.

Edit: are you hoping to build the engine yourself or send it out because yes there are people on MSO that have done it themselves too.

Heard of that track, ill probably end up there soon if my build dosent fail catastrophicly. Currently in the process of building it myself. Taking this as a learning opportunity :) I have an other thread about an issue im running into with clearance thats causing me to lose sleep hah Ill probably create an other thread once its all done to show off the car and the process.
