Very, though it definitely helps if you're willing to do some work to dig up answers on your own. What sort of problem are you having?
 
Mso can be very helpful, lots of knowledgeable folks around even if they're no longer driving speeds they still contribute to the platform.

Like vanquish said look around and search, if you don't find the information ask and the community will get you pointed in the right direction.
 
I ran into an "engine knock" problem and i live in the LA area but i wanted hear any recommendations for mechanics in LA
 
If you go to https://www.cobbtuning.com/dealers and put in Los Angeles, make sure you check mazdaspeed call the shops they may be able to help. Best way I can see to find a shop for you while I'm not in the state or country.

Edit: while I was looking I saw some shops that aren't just tuners you so a couple of them is bound to do engines
 
Actually I did do that and went to this shop named AntSpec but when I got there I was told that they don’t do internal motor work

But I’ll look for shop which does

There is a new guy in east LA that has been helping a lot of dudes i know with work being done and they have recommended him numerous times.

@javiautorepair he mostly works on speeds, he sources his enginces and shit from other vendors like jordan.
