Hey guys. I have a 2006 MS6 GT that currently has a blown engine. I'm to the point of saving money up for the HPFP internals, AP, and machine shop work before I pull the engine. I will be trying to set up a wrenching day with the local Mazda/NATOR guys when I'm ready to pull the engine, and again when it's ready to go back in. Got a car that needs some work? Bring it and we can work on multiple cars at once!

I also intend to try to bring over as much downloadable content from MSF as possible to here so those years of collection of documents isn't lost forever

Good to have another speed 6 around on here man! As for the MSF talk, Raider wants us to bring updated subjects to this forum. So, that means no old stuff from the other forum, just fresh stuff as some of the products and such are out of date. Tons of great knowledge on there sure, but we have people on here from that forum which have all the info just the same. Anyway, welcome to the best forum around!

I was looking more at pulling technical info and shop manuals and such that won't be out of date type of stuff more so than parts specific articles

Welcome to mso! Tech documents etc would be good to go, just no copy pasta (yes pasta) of the threads.

How far are you looking to the take the engine build?

For the time being I will be stock power adders, I won a front crash bar on FB so I will definitely be going FMIC before anything else. Stock turbo, forged internals built bottom end, stock heads, 93 tuned. 350 comfortable daily without pushing it too much for the immediate future. But it should be able to handle up to 500hp if I get a crazy hair in the future

There are several of us who just built ours so it’s kind of fresh on our minds. Feel free to ask away if you have any questions man! Check out my build thread as I am running a similar build at the moment to what you are talking about except a little more. Currently stock turbo tho but that’s changing soon.

Yo! Welcome! I just realized that MSF is down (/gone?). That's really cool of you to have saved a lot of that good information! Glad you're here haha!

It's apparently gone for good is what I understand.

And of course, Raider , you were such an institution of knowledge and help there. When you say it’s gone, it’s like the last rock skipped across an emptied lake... or some other metaphorical bologna like that...

Gone. Like never returning. Even his email is disconnected.
