The one and only solution for keeping your flywheel bolts from backing out! This is the same combo we run on all of our shop cars with upgraded clutch kits, along with many other high horsepower high revving Mazdaspeeds and Ford Ecoboosts. ARP Flywheel Bolts coupled with Nord-Lock Locking Washers will keep that flywheel secure, and help to prevent your flywheel bolts from backing out.

Nord-Lock wedge-lock washers works off of tension instead of friction unlike standard lock washers. More info in this brief video here.

We offer this kit with 2 different sized washers, to allow for fitment on various flywheels where the bolt holes may be recessed (see photos). If your flywheel does not feature recessed bolt holes, be sure to select the larger washers. If your flywheel has recessed bolt holes, you'll want to measure the diameter to confirm compatibility. Small Washer OD: 0.770"

Large Washer OD: 1.005"

We recommend using a high strength threadlocker & sealer on the bolt threads, and a torque value of 105-115lbs/ft.

Pretty great seeing this released and then someone complaining that their bolts let loose on a fit tested clutch. We know how he's fixing it, perfect timing.

We've been meaning to release these for a bit, but I haven't had a chance to. Seeing that post got me into gear lol.

We've been running this combo for over 5 years now, after we had the bolts back out on an ACT clutch on our MS6 drag car... at the time on the stock turbo.

So at what point does this start to become an issue?

Generally once you add in vibrations and with some aftermarket clutches (mainly ones that are not pinned). So a BSD or higher revving motor, coupled with an aftermarket clutch, and you could potentially have the bolts back out. Especially if the OE bolts were reused or no loctite was used.
