New To Site, Not New To Speeds

Hello all, I was a member of Mazdaspeedforums.org but didn’t post a lot. I guess this is the site that everyone moved to when the old one went down? Anyway, the car is a 2008 Speed 3 GT, white in color. No drive train mods, just a short shifter (shoulder injury, had trouble getting 5th gear) and a Corksport rear mount insert. 2nd gen wheels. Currently has just under 38k miles.

Welcome, and thank you for your support! I quit msf when the former owner vanished and nothing was being done. This was over 6 1/2 years ago. It quickly died. He stopped letting new members join and a couple years ago he shut it down. By then I moved as much critical info. Much is obsolete now and new information is here.

No, I bought it from an elderly couple in late 2015. It had 6950 miles on it at the time. It was my daily until my wife got herself a new 2018 Mazda 3 GT. I took her old car for a daily.

Thanks, I really didn’t intend to stop dailying the Speed, but things happen. I got into an altercation with some contractors at work when I caught them leaning on the car. It got ugly. After that I took the wife’s old car. It’s been 4 years now.
