Hi. Never owned a Mazda before. Mostly owned Volkswagens. Read a little bit about these, and felt the way it pulled and decided what the hell. Mine came with a factory cold air intake and a turbo cool down ( doesn’t work) other than that all stock. I am enjoying this car but would like to mod it a bit.

There is no factory cold air. There was a dealer installed AEM intake that was Mazdaspeed branded for the first gen. If this is what you have its junk pick up a short ram sri from corksport during the sale they have going on now and throw the cai out. Turbo timer is also more trouble than it is worth on these make sure its disconnected
