I need to start posting more here instead of just on that other forum, so I'll get it going with my video from Saturday's track day at NJMP.
Not sure if it was just a mental reset or the new seats and harnesses, but I actually felt really good all day. Maybe it was just that I was relaxed and not trying to push it.
As I'm now discussing with Maisonvi I need some brake cooling ducts so I stop boiling fluid. Give me 12 minutes and I'll get those caliper bodies over 600F.
Perfect weather for "racing", great group of guys and girls out there, and Hooked on Driving really run a great event.
I'm trying to get some instructor-level peeps to do ride-alongs this year at events to get some instruction. Just gotta catch them when they're there and not hung-over.
Link skips ahead to the end of my warm-up lap. 13:50 is where I pass the vette again and promptly boil the fluid trying to make turn 1. I get it, but it was much closer than I would like.
