3 days ago i was driving my speed 6 and was at a light when it was raining. After the light turned green i noticed my car was a little jumpy so i tried to get over to the side of the road and the car shut off. After a few cranks it turned on like nothing happened. i kept driving and 10 minutes later i hit a puddle with mostly the passenger side of my car and it shut my car off instantly. I checked the intake to see if any water got in just in case i got "hydrolocked" but nothing it was dry as was the whole engine bay. So i decided to try to turn it on and it started cranking but after a few cranks it gave up and made no noise. I had to take it home and looked at everything from the fuses, starter, battery, ground. Everything was good. Has anyone had this happen or know what the problem could be? Also it doesnt let me connect a OBD, after a little of loading the OBD says "linking error"?

Sounds like a communication issue. You'll need to check your powers and grounds at the ECU first. Verify all fuses for those are ok. It also won't hurt to get underneath the car and try to rotate the engine manually to verify the engine isn't seized.

I assume you have electrical power everywhere else? All dash lights illuminate, headlamps work etc?

Yes I have power to the vehicle all lights radio work. I’ll have to try rotating the engine. I checked the fuses and they were all good

sadly I am not running a ap on it. I’m pretty sure when I tested the eng+b it wasn’t lighting up but then again I tested it with the engine off? I’ll have to check that fuse

just checked the eng B fuse. It doesn’t work when I test it or neither do any on that line? But when I switch them out to another one they work just not in that area?

Do any of the fuses in engine compartment have power?
