Other 1 owner speeds?

I'm wondering how many other mazdaspeed owners here bought their car brand new? I've grown so attached to my Mazdaspeed over the last decade+, I think I want to buried in it at this point. Anyone else here buy their speed new?

I absolutely love knowing every bit of history about the car.
 
I bought mine new. You will find that a lot of the long time members also bought new. I plan on driving mine forever. With my current lifestyle I should be able to dd it and be around 250 k miles when I retire

Yup bought my genpu brand new with 43km on the clock, still at sub 130k km, only did about 3000km last year and I daily it, I'm at the point I do an oil change once a year because it's been a year and that's what oil filters are rated for typically.

Trying to get one of the guys I work with to join MSO but he's had his since new and only as 75k km on it
 
Purchased on Dec 28 MZ3 2008 Mica Blue + "quick fuel" fuel door & auto rear view mirror (hate) at a multi model Super Dodge dealer. Of course failed during the mega dealer failures just a year later but was fortunate that Dodge factory paper warranty was transferred to genuine Mazda...
Which I NEVER had to use. My car is fantastic with 82k now. Completely stock with just HID headlights. Son now owns it, hopefully when he eventually wants me to buy back will move my own 2007 parts to mix and match.
 
I hang around somewhat but am the weirdo that bought *NEW* at 172,000 miles on the clock and built motor at 200k
 
I was on mazdaspeedforums.org as well but wasn't super active at the time. Mostly just used it as a resource more than posting. The mazda community definitely seems to be tighter knit than most communities though.

I feel like so many of these cars end up abused and disrespected too. It's nice to see them actually taken care of and driven daily. I think short of the car absolutely exploding into a million pieces, I'd probably attempt to rebuild it.

I wish I could say I bought new, but have now owned 6, 2 MS3's, 2 MS6's, 1 MSM, 1 MSP. and have been in the game for years.
