P0638 trouble

Got a p0638, checked out throttle body, still opened and closes on shut down, but nothing when putting the gas pedal down with key on. Won't go into mode where turns the Injector off, im assuming bc it doesn't see throttle position.. anyone dealt with this? Trying to compression test and can't get it to enter the flood mode. Started it up and ran like absolute crap, as if their was a huge boost leak. Boost leak tested and no leaks.. throttle body dead? No change when wiggling wires, worked literally 3 days ago before the battery died hard.

What caused the battery to die? Did you replace the battery? Because old batteries on this platform cause lots of random issues

The battery died due to the accessport not shutting down on key off position. A brand new battery was installed and the problem persists

I've looked for other threads but nothing deals directly with this problem from what I've seen, it's usually paired with another code and the fixes I've seen haven't worked- ie- cleaning the throttle, playing with wiring, and resetting the ecu for 30 minutes
