I've had this car for a few months a the motor blew so a just got finished with a swap.
Started it with jdm throttle body and got the code(all I have is an OBD2 scanner) so I cleaned the original one and put it on and it's still throwing the code. I can't erase it and after leaving battery disconnect overnight it's still present with koeo.
The scanner reads no activity at tps from the pedal but when I physically moved the butterfly it registered the change. the apps is reacting normal as far as I could tell.
I noticed a ticking noise coming from the pcm and don't know if that's normal or not but I have removed the the battery to check all grounds and nothing seems loose or frayed but I guess I will need to check everything with the multi multimeter.
So could it be, a) pcm be bad b) 2 throttle bodies are bad, c) faulty wiring d) shoulda just rode the bus
