Parts database

Has any consideration been given to creating a section of the forum or sticky with a database of parts?

For example, recently I needed to order an intake manifold gasket, so I had to log onto Mazdaspeed motorsports, look up the OEM part number via the diagrams, then order it. I also ordered a Beck/Arnley off Amazon which ended up being the exact same part. Ideally there would be a place where I could log this fact so that the next person who orders an intake manifold gasket knows they can just order the Beck/Arnley one off Amazon.

I'm not saying it has to be a RockAuto catalog, just some kind of table or list.

I have access to the stock parts list via mazdamotorsports. So if you ask for a part, I can look up the part number, or at least get a picture up of the parts number for it.

Where at a final stages of getting this working for you guys, we just need the community help to start filling out spreadsheets of data, once we have the data the gui/server/database schema are done.
