Peekaboo

Every time I see the word appalled this pops into my mind.

I assume you will filming said video in mexico?

I dont need mexico, we are 10 minutes from Portland Intl Raceway. I hit 118mph in the 2014 Mazda 3 on the back straight so I bet I can get 135-140 mph before the corner in our speed 3. There are always plenty of driving events there to go have fun with. It not the Ridge Motorsport park has weekend events all the time and the straight there I could hit 140mph easy.

Mold costs are a big chunk of it, we wanted something repeatable and consistent compared to fiberglass. We looked at polyurethane but we didn't like the way the molds left artifacts similar to fiberglass parts get. We also had some concern with polyurethane parts at high speed deflecting. We are thinking of making a video with a PU part and compare it to ours at speeds over 100mph.

Good info. I think a video showing the better quality of your lip would help other people understand the price. And just to be clear, I don't have a problem with the price.

I 2nd the comment on recommending this video. I have been seeing of front lips on ebay and people butchering out car brands lips to make it fit, so I think a video showing why yours is the better choice would be a good idea.

I have always been leery about cheaper knock offs, but most people say I'm just silly and throw my money away. I tend to disagree.

Installed mine tonight, looks great. I have the CS skid plate and even though it says it's incompatible with the lip on the product page, I was able to make it work without modifications. The extra thickness of the metal plate did prevent two of the holes (for the smaller OEM bolts) from lining up, but with all the other fasteners, no floppiness or sagging to be had.

I'm glad everything worked out with the skid tray for you. Have an installed picture?

$249.99 is the price.
That's a lot for a pavement-scraper :D
Joking aside, with my mild (1") drop on my Swift springs, I already have issues with some driveways, even with no lip. And I've mastered "angling" to get in/out of certain areas too. Hope it's robust enough to take the abuse it'll surely see.

And becuz aero? Measured downforce results?? :)

Looks great, but I fear my dirt road and the crappy roads up here would destroy it. I wasn't sure about the side wings, but they look good.
