Question about built motor ring gaps

I'm having second thoughts on ring gaps, I have Manley 2618s with Htuff rods the bore is 87.75mm, Manley instructions say for high boost 30+

also seen in the forums from Drew 10101010
550+whp 0.020 top ring 0.022 2nd ring
700+ 0.021 top ring 0.024 2nd ring

my power goal is the 600-700 range

Your spec depends on your goals. I went .020 Top Ring and .024 Bottom Ring. This will be good for 30+ psi and others have run it with good results.
From the first thread these ring gaps will probably do you well, I'm inclined to follow JTs specs, having quoted him hopefully he chimes in
