Rang-a-stang's GenWon

I just don't want dude to lose his job if it comes down to it. I'm all for freedom to make a choice on it. It is sad we are at a point where it's you can get the vaccine and work/support your family or don't get it and you're SOL.
We wouldn't be in this spot if people would have just got the vax as soon as they could have. You can also still get it when vaccinated and pass it on to others, it is just much less likely. You are WAY more likely to get it and pass it on if not vaccinated "our current situation of exploding cases of delta" My children can also not even get a vaccine yet...... Seems like a logical decision to protect you and your neighbors. Anyways just get the vax so we can go about arguing other things like how great/terrible stance life is.

It isn't just about protecting OURSELVES. We live in a society with people who cannot be vaccinated because of age or immunocompromisation. We are also vaccinating ourselves to protect THEM.

Regardless of health implications, how ludicrously stubborn to willingly risk your livelihood just to make some point by refusing to get a simple vaccination. Idk man, I just don't get it. Science is cool af and we should be embracing this.

Honestly we should start a new thread. I've had covid and am vaccinated. The vaccine fucked me up far worse and I still have lingering bullshit over a month after the second shot. Covid was the flu I was back to normal in three days.

Holy cats! I didn't mean to stir the pot! My vaccine statement wasn't meant to make a point other than it may impact my ability/timing to pay for a corn tune!

I'm not too proud to admit that I am a knuckle head; I absolutely think the Cobb DP is a better designed, better built part than stock. I also think it would absolutely make a huge difference in most other cars (especially with a stock turbo). But in my case, I paid $650'ish bucks for no perceivable change in performance. I am not saying that the DP is waste of money; I am saying that in my case, with my parts, $650 did not buy me anything other than lower WGDC numbers. It would be like sticking racing tires on my daily driver. Sure the tires are better, they have way more potential but for me with no plan on going to the track, they would just be expensive tires.

My longblock has 145k miles on it. If the lower WGDC means my engine will last longer, awesome. if it means my turbo will last longer, a If there are other advantages I don't know about, I would be stoked to be wrong. I am sure my ignorance is showing through in these statements. But in the long run, the only real plan I have is the corn tune and keeping my car running for as long as I can.

This is probably the worst post I have ever had to make. On Tuesday before Christmas, some kid ran a red light and smacked into me. After 164,322 miles, all driven by me (except for about 100 of them), after 2 months shy of 16 years, my Mazdaspeed is headed to the wrecker.

I was doing about 30 and he was doing about 35 and we hit almost head on. I am sooooo sad. This car was sooooo sentimental to me. I planned to own it until I croaked (it's literally mentioned in my will). I got banged up a bit but nothing serious. The kid that hit me and his passenger both went to the hospital but were OK, too.

Here is the pic I took as I walked away after grabbing all my stuff. THis is probably the last time I will ever seen this guy. The blue car behind it is the one that hit me.

Currently doing the dance with insurance to get the most money I can out of it. They offered $6500. Pshh...

Anyone buy or sell a 2009 MS3 in the last year for more than that? So I can use it as a comparison? I am submitting receipts for all my parts and work, too.

This car was irreplaceable. SOOOOOoooooooo bummed.

ah shit dude sorry to hear that and right before Christmas too. glad to hear you're okay.
look up the price on black book that should tell you what is valued at I'm not sure what they're going for myself.
