I just bought 2 rear caliper from a MAZDA 5 for a bigger setup in the rear for my MS3.

I try to rebuild them completly with everything new and a powdercoating for a fresh look. I tearing a part the caliper but right now I'm stuck to remove the ebrake actuator ... there is a cclip inside (don't see it) or I remove the spring for the ebrake but there is a stopper to remove the actuator from the caliper. Do I need to remove all this to clean everything they seem to be dirty inside just want to be sure I clean everything and change all the seal possible. This way I will have a free problem rear caliper for some years.

I find some MX5 or FD RX-7 how to ... but doesn't look exactly like our rear caliper

Thanks for your help

The caliper is the same as the speed three for the conversion you only need the mounting bracket

yep sir ! know that. Just try to find a "how to" to completly strip the rear caliper for a complete rebuild ... is it possible to remove the ebrake actuator ... completly remove all parts to touch every part of it and rebuild like new

Does it has other car that have the same rear caliper as the MAZDA3/MAZDA5/MAZDASPEED ?
