The way the sections are currently divided is a little too broken up for the region.
Eastern Maryland should have its own section, for members from Baltimore to Ocean City.
D.C., Western Maryland (all points west of the Chesapeake), and Northern Virginia should have its own section. This area is most commonly referred to as the "DMV" (DC/Maryland/Virginia)
Southern Virginia ( Blacksburg, Richmond, and VA Beach), should have its own section.
I think this would help things out quite a bit.
