Review of the CP-E XFLEX RMM for the Speed6

I'll start this off by saying 3 things,
1. I've decided that I was going to go against the grain, instead of going with the normal DM Trilogy mounts, I decided to try a different RMM than most guys, and I have to say I'm impressed with the quality R&D CP-E put into this thing
2. SHE'S STIFF BOYS
3.also helps keep the vibes from the DM PMM down to a much more bareable level(trans mount stock right now)

When I bought my car it was bone stock mounts, I replaced the RMM first thing, with a SURE mount I picked up for $50 from a local company that was doing partouts. Made the engine a little more stiff in it's place, but I knew it wasn't what I needed pretty much immediately upon driving the car after installing it.

A couple weeks ago I bought and installed the CP-E XFLEX mount on my 6 and let me tell you the car feels completely different with this mount, the engine movement that I normally felt while shifting was pretty much all gone!

Right having stock TMM, I dont know what difference if any, the DM TMM will make in added vibration but I'll report back on that later

TL;DR Buy this mount, if you want stiff, and to kill some of the added VIBES from the other mounts, you wont be disappointed with this purchase.

Biggest issue I had was the 3" downpipe hitting the PTO bolts, but you can loosen the PMM a little and make just enough room.

I did this with a lift so it was super easy, just make sure you support the motor with a jack and flat piece of wood or it will rock forward on you and be a PITA to get back in the right spot.

Pry bars are very useful in this, the CP-E mount is a little thick where it slides in and bolts, it's due to design, but it works VERY VERY WELL.

It does come with full color instructions as well. It's nice but not needed on something as straight forward as this is.

The rear tabs where the mount goes in pry lightly outwards just enough for you to slide it in all the way, and just loosen the top 2 bolts to the triangle plate attached to the trans
there are spacers that need to go inbetween on the front bolt

I finally crawled under the car and put mine in today. My only difficulty was that whoever put this on last tightened them to 1,000,000 ft lbs. My impact wrench had no trouble on the bolts it could reach, but it couldn't reach all of them.

Anyway, other than overtightened bolts installation was a breeze. I had the jack in just the right place so the engine never moved and I sprayed the RMM bolt holes with some silicone lube so they slid right into the mounting spots with little difficultly.

I was surprised to find that my old RMM was still pretty new. It was dirty, but the rubber was intact and solid. Anyway, I was expecting increased vibrations, but I really didn't have any. Maybe just a hair on idle, but that could be my imagination. It feels really smooth cruising at constant speed.

I probably don't notice as big a difference as most people since my stock mounts were in good shape, but one thing that has really improved it's that 1st to 2nd shift. If I didn't hit it just right the car would certainly let me know if and hesitate a little, which I think was engine/tranny movement. Now that's almost totally gone. The car also seems to be a little peppier when I hit the gas.

Replacing the passenger mount makes a huge difference as well.
my motor is I'd say is about 90% more still over stock even on a heavy shift, even with just the DM PMM and this CP-E Rear Mount

The SURE mount sure was good... FOR A MINUTE
A little about this SURE mount,
The front and rear are actually made of different compounds, the rear seems to be closer to an OE style rubber, the front bushing is a 2 piece design like the damond ones and alike, but it is far too soft it let's the motor bounce around almost as bad as stock even mildly shifting.
The front bushing was so soft it actually made the hole more of an oval from movement, and it was fully torqued

Oh this is for a ms6! Buddy of mine has the stage 2 rmm for ms3 and that thing is pretty comfy.
