Couple things I'm looking to hopefully get some help with. For anyone that has an aftermarket head unit and is using the RP4-MZ11 interface, do you have a parasitic drain? Seems the interface is causing a parasitic drain in my car. It will do it even with the head unit unplugged. Tried 2 different modules and had the same issue, also had Crutchfield do the wiring for one of them, and I did one as well to no avail. Same drain on both.
Second issue is if my alternator might be on its way out. When using my accessport to look at the battery voltage, it will start at around 13.8-13.9 volts(from a cold start, car has been sitting for a couple of days, and it occasional jumps over 14) but if I let the car sit for a while parked, when I turn it back on it will stay at around 13.3-13.4 volts most of the time, and as I drive it eventually goes back up to anywhere from 13.6 volts to 13.8. Is this a sign of a dying alternator or does the heat affect it for some reason?
