The Issue: Car drives fine until about 80 mph, however at that point the steering wheel begins to vibrate much harder than is normal for my full Damond MM. The vibration heightens in intensity as speed increases, to the point where it is full on shaking in my hands by 90. I don't experience it often as the only times I am really ever going above 80 is to pass people on my drive to and from college (Indianapolis <--> St. Louis) but it has been occurring since I got the car in March 2020.
I don't believe it is anything to do with wheel balancing as A.) it does not appear (at least in any noticeable intensity) before 80 mph, and B.) it happens on both sets of my wheels (gen2 stocks with 225/40/18 DWS06 and motegi mr145 17x8.5 with 245/40/17 RE71Rs).
I also don't think it is CV joints, as I don't get any of the telltale clicking on turning, but I am also not the most knowledgeable person by a long shot so it still could be to anyone who knows better.
It is *possible* that it is wheel bearings, however I asked in the discord server about a year ago and was told a way to check for wheel bearings would be to jack up the car and try to shake the wheel in and out, and if it had play then the wheel bearings were shot. I did this on both fronts and had no play.
I am thinking maybe tie rod ends, front sway bar endlinks, or something entirely different. Either way, it feels pretty sketchy above 85 and it's the reason I don't take WOT logs in 4th gear.
