Figured I would start a build thread on my 2010 ms3 that I'm doing a budget. It's been sitting for a few years blown up but I finally got the urge to work on it finally. Got the idea to do the build to see if I could build something cheaper but with quality parts still. So I started surfing salvage yards to find wrecked speeds. My total budget for this is roughly 7k give or take. So far I have spent a little under 2k with only needing to purchase a motor (trying to find a used built motor) exhaust manifold (most likely will be purchasing a new full race manifold) and methanol injection setup as I'm not looking to go pi at the moment. Onto the parts list of everything I currently have.
Salvage yard Parts:
Bnr turbo ($630)
Corksport short shifter ($80)
Corksport throttle body ($100)
Ksport pro coilovers like new maybe a few thousand miles on them(175)
Eonon ga9463 touch screen unit(bought for the ability to run my obdlink lx via Bluetooth for gauges)

honestly, i would go pi or throttle body injection over meth, once you add everything up its not much more money and its much more reliable.

I'll be doing pi come winter. I've owned this for 3 years and I've driven it maybe a month if that before it blew and I really just want to drive it for a bit before going crazy
