Throttle Body Harness Read Out

8. INSPECT THROTTLE VALVE ACTUATOR
CIRCUIT FOR OPEN CIRCUIT
  • Throttle body and PCM connectors are disconnected.
  • Inspect for continuity between the following terminals (wiring harness-side):
    • Throttle body terminal F - PCM terminal 2A
    • Throttle body terminal E - PCM terminal 2B
  • Is there continuity? No continuity
No Repair or replace the wiring harness for a possible open circuit, then go to the next step.
 
Do you have another throttle body you can use for testing? It would be easiest to do that.

Where are you in at in going back to the factory harness?

fattimotorworks put together a package for me that I am purchasing now for the TB and harness.

I was thinking about a new MAC EBCS but I was told it it non polarized so no matter the direction soldered, it would still be good.

If it gets here before the end of the week, I will be installing it Saturday...uninstalling the current Friday.
