Trips to Mexico

Ok guys, so I am hoping this thread isn't a bust and those of you who have experiences will share them... I am making this post for those of you who enjoy hearing stories about car match ups and racing (wherever that it might have taken place).

With that out of the way I am curious who has raced other cars and who won the race. Videos are LOVED and pics of your ride and the competition if you have it would be cool. List your mods and mods of the other driver if known. Feel free to share multiple experiences as I am just curious our platform has beat or lost to and the hp levels of the cars.

Post em' up!!!

I haven't been to "Mexico" in a very long time but I have had some interesting races in my day.

My 1986 Mitsubishi Starion vs my friends Evo X MR - Draw.

Starion had a 2.6L SOHC 4 cylinder, throttle body injection with 1150cc primary and secondary injectors. Stock ECU, GM MAF translator sending a signal to my SAFC2, 3" exhaust and downpipe, custom TD06 Super 16G turbo, FMIC upgraded, Balance shaft delete, Non jet valve head, stock camshaft, Fidanza flywheel and SPEC stage 2 clutch

Evo X MR - Basic bolt ons, exhaust, CAI, Cobb Accessport,

Pretty impressive run, we did a 30 roll on the interstate. I kept up with his car until about 130

Next up would be my 1986 300ZX Turbo vs my friends RB20DET swapped 240sx. I lost but not by much. Completely stock 300ZX. His RB20 had all supporting upgrades to make it run, FMIC etc.

My same 300ZX vs a whole gang of RX7 boys. I beat every single one of them in the 1/8 mile drag. But that's not really a comparison considering a rotary has no torque. Im sure on the highway they'd have beat me.

Same night I got completely beaten by wait for it.... A freaking Isuzu RODEO! This thing had a 200 shot of nitrous. No one suspected it. I took off the line and suddenly I'm seeing this rust bucket SUV go flying by me. Dude was super cool though cause I had to ask wtf was in his car lol. He popped off the intake cover and all you could see was hard lines, solenoids, and in his back seat were two big bottles.

I'll upload my Miata track video's and link them here. They're on my laptop at work.
