Yes! definitely need to make sure the oil squirters are bent out of the way. i spoke to another forum member who did a wiseco build and got some measurements from him so i have some idea of how much bending is needed. Anything else i should know about the wiseco's? the deal was very good, i had to jump on it and figured the wisecos would be fine since this isnt a daily, and itll see alot of track abuse and heat while being in the ~500hp range.
i know the studs arent great but should hold 450-500whp shouldnt they? also the wiseco's, ive heard theyre loud, piston slap, maybe little oil consumption while cold but i havent read or heard anything about ringland failure?
Oem would hold better than those. My bad meant their rings have a lot of fails and when they do which is maybe couple thousand miles give or take a few, it's all the time not only cold and it's a significant amount of oil loss that would force you to rebuild it again.

Ok now I’m wondering if that just comes down to ring gaps, machining and tuning? For the oil consumption and broken ring lands? Also the head studs, are they actually weaker then oem? If so I’ll just get some oem head bolts
It's the actual rings that are garbage I think it's because they are thin don't remember exactly someone else can clarify that, for the oil consumption. No broken ringland issues
I don't have experience with them because of the known issues. I went with Manley platinum pistons to avoid building twice.
@Sho Can answer the OEM headbolts questions he ran them till they lifted
yea i think i remember reading that in your build thread. ok, so this raises the question now, do i use my arp 2000 headstuds since im only aiming for 500whp or do i go buy some OEM ?
