Hey guys. I've owned my Gen 1 since 2010 and 16k miles. I now have 93k, and have yet to ever do any vvt work. It has never made any noise, so I figured it wasn't necessary.
Now that my mileage is getting higher, I'm wondering if this should be done as maintenance. Or if it's not making noise, then leave it alone?
I called the dealer to get a price, and they told me if its not making noise that it's fine. But I have OCD when it comes to maintenance, so if this is a wear item, I do want to change it out.
