What did you do to your ride today

installed the CS tb last night. garbage weather so no opportunity yet to rip on it or grab comparison logs. stock intake mani right now so I'm sure the benefits are a bit limited, but I'll be adding the CS mani to it hopefully a bit later this year and anticipate some nice results.

Finally got my Optima Yellowtop battery charged over the weekend. I also turned off the trunk light to stop it from draining my battery.

Does the CS TMM insert really make a noticeable difference?
I did notice it is more solid as I can now rev match downshift while in a turn more smoothly than before. I also did a few launches from a dig and just chirp tires instead of a little shake from the engine. Also going into gear is also easier. Bear in mind I also have the Damond SSP and CS Race RMM along with OEM PMM.

Did you install all motor mounts at the same time? Or did you get to install the CS TMM insert after the other mounts have already been installed?

I previously had the DM RMM and it did everything you have described. Easier shifting, increased throttle response, less engine movement and more tire chirping. Unfortunately, it was a little too much NVH for my daily drive and so I went with the CPE stage 1 RMM. I was wondering how much of an improvement the CSS TMM insert makes when you already have an aftermarket RMM installed.

I went in this order:
CS RMM
Used OEM GenJuan TMM & PMM
OEM GenPu TMM w/ CS Insert
So far it has made a big difference in the driving/shifting experience, coming from stock side mounts. You may experience more NVH than I can notice, only because it feels the same to me due to the CS RMM. I'd say get it. If you no likey, then take out the insert and rock the genpu mount.

It is on my list of stuff to get for the car. Thanks for the feedback.

PASSED MY INSPECTION!.... Then promptly got a check engine light on the way home from the inspection shop in true fashion lol ........

Then i celebrated by installing hood struts!!! FUCK THAT ROD!!! Btw i have said that phrase more times then i have wanted to... i will burn the prop rod over the fire this summer then melt it down to a bottle cap opener since its is the most useful thing i can thing of for that ungodly POS that is always in the way.... If i could go back in time this would of been my first mod! Thespeedline struts!!

Now it is time to undo the retarded mess of bullshit i did to pass. I cant stand the smell of vented cc any more.

Ah that's just part throttle cruise knock, nbd. 29-30psi on stock block is butthole puckering, though. No idea at the moment as to what's causing it.
[doublepost=1520101555][/doublepost]Well, I'm an idiot. Apparently, when I relocated my ebcs and trimmed up the lines the other week, I reversed ports on the hoses going to the intake and wastegate. Problem solved.

Getting closer to finishing my nerdery (LifePO4/ super capacitor hybrid battery). Cable routing and tidying is coming later but so far I feel pretty good about cramming this much junk in my v1 corksport battery box while still maintaining the option of going back to a traditional battery if I need to.

Tried to do a driver side axle replacement. Failed because the fucker is seized to the hub and we don't have the tools or patience to free it. Gonna have to take it to a shop. God, I hate this car sometimes.

I had a Powerstop disc and pad brakes installed. I purchased the zinc covered slotted and drilled rotors and ceramic pads. Nice bite, looks awesome and NO BRAKE DUST! After years of scrubbing brake dust off the wheels, this is wonderful.

I also purchased a set of metal caliper covers painted red. Nice finishing touch.

I purchased both kits on Amazon.

Finally installed the 80duro PMM from JBR. Vibe and noise increase but engine is much more solid feeling.

After driving around some yesterday evening and this morning I went ahead and put the TMM in as well. Was worried the vibes and noise would increase significantly, but they didn't.

Yes there's more than just a RMM, but not a big difference over RMM+PMM. Engine feels rock solid in pulls and hard launches. Will give the mounts about 100 miles or so to "break in" and see how it goes.
