Installed a CNT CBE and a ebay EFB BPV. Gots me some Vroom Vroom Pshooo now!

Looks great. I love mine! I get sort of consumed worrying that the bottom of my steering wheel is not parallel to the floor, like it is in there crooked or something. When I start my OCD routine, I just do a WOT and it gets my mind off of my steering wheel. It is awesome!
 
The right side thumb notch is a little smaller than the left. Drove me nuts at first, but I’m not too worried about it now. I really like the alcantara, but it gets dirty easily.
 
Got the car back after the dealership replaced my dash then I asked them to redo it when I inspected it and found the lower portion of the dash to be horribly misaligned.

On the plus side it appears, judging from the milage, the inspection guys were too busy playing with it to care much about the visual anti-tampering emissions check. Hopefully they warmed it up first.

Stuffed the god awfully expensive rear backing plate of the winter beater (seriously how does a fucking backing plate cost 225 dollars?) full of JBWeld putty and drilled new holes for the parking brake retaining pins. Brakes don't drag anymore. It's ugly as hell but it works.

Replaced my front brakes. Second time replacing them. Centric 125 rotors this time and the same Hawk HPS 5.0 pads as the previous time since they lasted me 2.5 years of daily driving. They would have lasted longer based on the passenger side pads but the drivers side caliper started sticking.

Ordered new tires, Cooper Zeon RS3-G1. Hopefully they are good for daily driving. Will be getting them installed on Saturday.
 
I got a CEL, my Cobb called it “unspecified”, so I took it to be checked by my friendly Mazda tech Brandon. Turns out it was that my thermostat was stuck open. Replaced and the beast is running amazing!
