I think this comment is hilarious but also true. Honestly, the way some people review the motor mounts makes it sound like there is negligible increase in NVH. Of course this is totally dependent on how sensitive the driver is to NVH. But it might mislead others who would underestimate how much NVH was affected by aftermarket motor mounts. You all are still crazy. I have dm all the things and there is a very significant increase in nvh over stock.
Only if you drive aggressively and miss shifts. That 3rd mount will def add some NVH. IMHO, 2 of 3 mounts is plenty for casual drivers. When you want to track, go to the strip, drive aggressively, etc., then the 3rd mount becomes more desireable. Also, when you bolt on a bigger turbo and start making a lot more power, there's a lot more engine movement forces to combat, which a 3rd mount can really help with.
I have no doubt the performance improvements and increased throttle response are real. I was merely addressing the NVH aspect of it. You've said it yourself, that you notice the increased NVH but you don't mind it because it is offset by the increase in performance. There's nothing wrong with that.I only notice the noise and vibration at idle during warm-up. I sit in the garage until the RPM goes under 1000, and then I leave. I feel the vibration and hear the noise, but my frontal lobes just love the sure grip of the drivetrain when I release the clutch, and the lack of steering wheel bucking when I accelerate out of a corner in 2nd gear.... Oh, this car is such a blast to drive, and it is so much better since I did the 2 mounts, the fuel pump internals, and the CS rear antisway bar. The CS short air intake gave me the sound of the turbo spooling, which is amazing....just enough to get this old-guy a big old smile!
Something weird happened when I got the CS intake: The cone shredded, most likely from hitting the hood. I went into an Autozone and bought a no-name filter to replace it. CS advised slightly rotating the silicone hose downward but I haven't had any issues with the new intake since.
Damn near need ear plugs on the Harley. Don't want to wear them in the car too. I usually have the radio loud enough, but I've been considering the UR CBE.
Mount shipped so I'll know soon enough.
You may not need aftermarket exhaust, but who doesn't like a good after fire now and then?I've been turning the Sirius down to hear the drivetrain...I guess I really don't need an aftermarket exhaust because the NVH provides just the right note inside! I just ordered the CS TMM insert as a way of checking off the "motor mounts" box on my mental checklist of mods and maintenance the aging car needs to perform as designed.

Do you have a balance shaft delete, too? I-4s have engine harmonics that caused increased vibes at ~3k and at double that too (~6k), because it's exactly double the frequency - in other words, a harmonic of the original frequency (exactly an octave higher). BSD makes these two noise points much more noticeable, FWIH.I went the other way. Rear and then TMM. I get the 3k RPM vibe from the TMM, but I still dig it.
Pics for reference sake of others? And maybe be, someday?4th motor mount is in. Tight fit, but definitely subdued the vibrations from the other 3 mounts.
Mines been having some stability issues with some apps.Tonight I installed my new head unit

I did not remove the balance shaft. I didn't get the 3k vibe until I installed the TMM. It's really noticeable on decel, but easy enough to avoid when cruising.Do you have a balance shaft delete, too?
