What did you do to your ride today

Maybe I'm getting old or maybe having a kid has changed my perspective, but I think the RS is too hardcore for a daily driver. I think it is a track car first, daily driving car second. The Golf R on the other hand is a daily driver with more power and AWD, which I think is more in line with my use case. The 2018 WRX feature/amenities wise has finally caught up to a 2013 MS3 with Tech Package which is why if on a budget, I think it should be considered. The Civic Type R is interesting. I think the looks are ok and if sold at MSRP, it might be a good choice. However I've been driving FWD for 7 years now, I want something different, which is why I'm leaning towards an AWD vehicle next.

Edit: What I really want, is a new AWD Mazdaspeed6.

Rs interior looks very rental car like. I have something against German cars, not sure why

Nothing. I did nothing to my car today. She`s still at the shop getting a heart transplant. Hopefully she`ll be back on the road next week.

Still working on tuning the CS turbah with that PD man Will; hoping to see the numbers really start impressing on the next few revisions. Also ordered vibrant resonator to install this weekend and hopefully calm down the exhaust a little bit.

^^^^ Crikey that thing is sexy. I might just have to feel dirty about myself for a while and get one.

I drive a RS3 Roush for a semi daily and I raced it this last weekend with the kid seat still in the back. The only reason I don't daily daily it is to keep miles in check. Otherwise I would drive it everyday. I don't mind the extra shit in the Mustang, but I wouldn't totally drive a stripped out race car daily. Mostly because I'm retarded.

crapatalk it sucks for free

Yeah. It was an impulse buy. I was hungover at work and just decided to get it. Weird how the brain works

Might have to bite the bullet, my man; I don't think I've ever seen one for sale used. Autoexe makes a rather similar wheel for genpu if you really want to keep up your CS embargo, though.

You won't feel dirty about it for long. I've got one in my car, and it is one of the best upgrades I've done. It feels so much nicer than OEM, that it makes every drive better. You don't even notice that logo after a while.

Saw one on FB for 275 shipped a while back. If autoexe has them then I will search far and wide.

Just googled it. It's $100 more expensive and I'm not as much of a fan of it

I applaud you for semi-daily driving your Roush. I don't think that will work for me unless my kid is older. (I would drive it everyday though if I'm older and my kids were adults already.) There were a number of months or phases that my kid went through, where he did not want to be put on his car seat. Waiting and trying to coerce him into getting into his car seat, even on a CX-5 was tiring for me and my wife. Cannot imagine how that would work out in a Mustang :)

the CS is much more sexy. Water will wash away my shame, right?
I also have said CS wheel and I second your buying one. It's great.

Also anyone who doesn't drive their car to avoid putting miles on it doesn't understand the point of owning the car. It's not going to go up in value, drive it, enjoy it, and don't care about the miles. When you wear it out get something new. Life is too short to drive boring cars daily.

Removed the OEM shifter weight. Drove around for a day and didn't like it. Too light and more effort to put into gear. Reinstalled it.
