Got bored watching a "YouTube star" not totally think through what he was doing on an engine swap. Went out to the shop at 9:30 and installed the new revision of the CS PNP MAP sensor and an SSP.
Also, most importantly, put a ricer roll call on my fuse box. Because why the hell not?

Yep. I'm not sure what his obsession with starting the engine all the time is. My wife seems to think it's because he thinks if it'll start he's doing it right. Yet for some reason I keep peeking in on that train wreck. Probably to make myself feel good about keeping things clean after years of being an actual mechanic.
The turbo mustang thing where he sealed off the turbos with a tiny bit of oil in them then started the car and rev'd it a bunch of times made me irrationally angry. Let's not even get me started on the whole wiring thing.
That mustang build was just all-around garbage. I like the 2j in the BRZ but yea...buddy should research things a bit more thoroughly before he jumps right into them.

Damn I would have preferred NGKs, but the spark plugs have already been shipped so it is too late now. Hopefully the Densos work out fine for my car.

No real reason. I've used the Rotella for about 20k and thought I'd see how the Pennzoil does. Pennzoil is a lot easier to find locally too.

Those are Gen1 caps yes. Mine do not totally fit because the wheels were sandblasted/painted by a body shop, but for the most part yes they fit. If they hadnt been painted/blasted I am sure they would fit perfectly fine.
I really dont have any close up's of my roof, but its nothing special just gloss black.

Saturday night, uninstalled ETS tmic and now back to stock tmic. Would have uninstalled the CS SRI and TIP too, but I really didn't want to mess with the TIP and battery box. Back to stage 0 tune as well, but only did a short test drive to make sure nothing is wrong.
