Do those grills actually fit properly? I’ve considered getting one, but I think it would make me go FMIC.Nothing huge but finally got my Bayson R grill installed and got around to putting my summer wheels back on. Wedssport RN-05M 18x9 +43 with Conti ExtremeContact Sport. All in all, a good day. Still need to polish the headlights.![]()

The Bayson R fits pretty well. It uses the stock grill clips for attachment instead of having to screw it in or use 3M tape like the Nextmod one. Gaps are minimal with the Bayson R.

Any rubbing with those wheels? Fitment looks good.
Are those Drag radials? Just the front or all 4 cornersRan over to summit racing and bought some new 255/50/16 Mickey Thompson ET Street S/S for the speed. Had em mounted. Then put the new to me wheels and tires on the pu sedan.

Yes they are. And only up front. 225 direzza z2's in the back. Are those Drag radials? Just the front or all 4 corners
Lol thats exactly what i was thinking i just thought maby they were just r compound regular tires so i figured i would ask.Yes they are. And only up front. 225 direzza z2's in the back.
Dont think it'd be wise to run a drag radial in the back on a fwd car. Plus those tires wouldn't fit in the back

@mangosmoothie has a pair with fresh powder coat and brand new Mickeys already mounted.I really need a set/pair of FD wheels. Was thinking of overpaying for a pair of em and using my stockers in the rear or something. I have been looking for a deal local to me for a while. I want a set of nice tires for when I do decide to go to the track.
@5doorsoffury, they hook full boost (35-36psi) in 3rd and 4th without and issue for sure On the street. I havent tried full boost in 2nd, but my tuner has my 1st gear limited to 9-10 psi and 2nd gear limited to 16-18psi and it hooks those fine.
@_Mazdarati yes they are fd wheels.
I had to pull my front fenders and remove the fender liners to clear the 255/50/16's (26" tire), and I also run a 15mm spacer up front to clear the coilovers and the calipers. It's a tight squeeze, and they do rub on big bumps at highway speeds. My rears are also rolled flat and pulled for a previous 17x9 setup, but now that I run a 225 on the back with fd wheels, only a roll would be necessary at my ride height.
Gen 2's have a wider front fender, so may not need as much work, but not totally sure.
Ive driven in a light rain with these, and they're ok. I wouldn't drive on the highway at 60+mph in a downpour, tho.
