I actually thought of doing that... But sadly it's still imported which means I still pay up the ying yang heck gas is ~3.45 cad per gallon around me. It's at an all time low we're not seeing it passed on at the pumps fully yetWith the price of a barrel of oil it'd be cheaper to buy a barrel.

5 gallons or quarts???I'm switching from Rotella to Pennzoil platinum dexos. Amazon has a deal on 5 gallon bottles for 22 bucks.

I didn't even catch that I pressumed quarts. If it was gallons I'd be ordering allot and paying the import feesQuarts, I'm an idiot.

Is that because upside down driving requires extra oil?I always used 5 gallons of oil in my car.
Or I heard that people are experimenting with injections oil instead of meth.... Cooling oil mist injection. Added lubrication and "cooling"Is that because upside down driving requires extra oil?

Sweet. What interval is everyone running? I've done several UOAs (Blackstone Labs) at 5k miles, and they said everything looks great, and to try 7k miles. But since I'm at ~380/380, I stick with 5k. On oil like this, I think 3k intervals are excessive...I have a wally world nearby that sells Pennzoil Ultra Platinum 5 quart for 27 bucks. That's the only oil I've ever run, and no problems at 42K miles. Essentially the same as PP, but supposedly slightly cleaner.

Not sure if I'd be comfortable pushing to 6k. The DISI is pretty dirty and oil is dark and smelly at 4k. I know dark and smelly is normal for these engines, but I like to have some extra margin for the sooty beast.Depends on how hard you drive...5-6k miles is pretty standard.

Some do, if you're not heavy driving. Personally I change at 3.1-3.7k miles as I'm km at do 5-6k km per change. Not sure if I'd be comfortable pushing to 6k. Same here.... Unless it's days like today where its -25.... Let the dam thing idle for a while before even driving away... No boost for me when it's that cold unless I've been cruising for atleast 30-40minYeah I just can't drive mine without driving hard, it's just to damn fun.

Yeah I'll still go hard in the cold, but only after coolant is up to 180 degrees. If it's super cold I'll be careful, but so far, I've had no winter over boost issues with my tune.Same here....
