Wheel bearings causing speedometer issue and unable to shut off

Hey all, not sure if this is right place to post this so if necessary please move.A bit of a story to follow.
In Sep of this year i was getting a loud intermittent grinding sound from front end, after jacking and testing wheel movement i was sure it was the bearing, and shop agreed (I like to wrench but not for this). Anyways, they replaced both sides, just in case, and when i drove home my car wouldn't turn off. It did after I figured I had to push a number of times. I then went on a road trip and was on the highway when i couldn't figure out why I was being passed when I was going a "little" above the limit. Activated my phones GPS (WAZE) and I was indicating about 9% faster than i was going. Google only had 1 example where the person's tire size caused similar issues. I was convinced the aftermarket bearings were causing the sensors to be off. Finally got shop to replace with mazda oem bearings and now all is back to normal. Just want this to get out in case anyone has an issue in the future. Thanks for reading.

Did they replace the sensors? They were probably the wrong speed sensors or bearings.

Do you know what brands or part numbers the shop used?

They only replaced the bearings with an aftermarket part and i don't know which one. Once the mazda oem ones (from the dealer) were put in all was good. If I was still having problems my next step was to replace the sensors.
