Hi guys! Thought I would post up what I have been up to (I am usually on MSF).

Long story short:
-Blew up my stock engine on BNR S3 with Nishan (not his fault! told him to push my stock block).

-New engine from SP63 and tuned it on BNR S3 with PD tuning

-Then 5858 on stock intake manifold with single meth nozzle (made 440whp 380wtq on meth and pump gas) with PD tuning

-Now I am going to Freektune and will be maxing out my 5858.

Mods:

SP63 Built Engine : (Keyed crank, pinned cams, Manley H Beam, Manley OFS 88mm pistons, Crower 65lb Valve Springs, Mild head porting on intake and exhaust, H11 Headstuds, ACT 6 Puck Clutch).

Turbo:
Precision 5858 (58mm) JB 0.82AR, CPE manifold precision v-band, full true 3.00" exhaust from turbo to back, JMF intake manifold, HTP 4.0 Intake, 3.5 BAR MAP, PERM dual catch an setup, SP63 valve cover breather,1 step colder NGK plugs, TR1045 Front mount setup w/ 2.5" diameter piping, TIAL WG

Drive-train Stuff : Full engine mounts from various brands, full differential mounts, SP63 T-case caps

Fueling: Methanol Injection with custom fuel cell and braided lines. Need to install my 6th port kit.

Anyways I am having Freek tune my car now (figure I would try all the tuners; why not). I just wrapped up my JMF install and need to go over and re do a lot of my intercooler piping. I will be running the 6th port kit with methanol injection (single D014 Nozzle) in conjunction. Looking to push my 5858 to the max.

Also I need to install my evo 8 brembos. Still shopping around for rotors and need to get SS lines too.

I am missing a bunch of work and stuff but here is random photos. Over the summer I pulled my engine to fix a rear main seal leak that I had.

Need to fix the front mount too. Did not take my time cutting the crash bar :(

How it sits now.

I go to college and come back home; probably won't begin tuning for a while.

Sorry about those edits. Had to fix the pictures. Also does anyone by chance have the instructions for the 6th port kit Kosmic or SP63 sells? I am buying my kit and pump all used for a good price tomorrow.

DJ had a good write up for installing one on MSF. His however was the first one ever. It is my understanding that he gave the blueprints for the kit to kozmic when he couldn't keep up with demand out of his garage.

Ya that is what I heard. I saw his post on MSF. I've already asked around on facebook and sent some emails. Just waiting game now.

Looking good!!! any reason why you decided against routing the intercooler piping down and around the engine rather than over the top?

Is that even possible on a speed 6? I know under-route piping is tight on my 3, and Im missing a few parts a 6 would have to go around

I love seeing builds come together!
Me too, and I love it when a post reminds me of a famous A-Team saying, too :D

BTW, how far was "pushing it" with the Nishan tune? Just curious to know. Circumstances? (ZZB stories are always great to hear about; they help mitigate foolishness, you know? LOL)

I was running 24psi and bumped up to 26psi and it spiked (because BNR wg or map sensor to 28 few times for a blip second) and i noticed oil in my vta filter and did compression test and it was all over the place. I didn't floor it for about 5 months until I got new engine installed. Car drove fine though lol but if you would get into boost the dip stick would instantly try to shoot off.
[doublepost=1485812839][/doublepost]Btw this all happened in one night at the 26psi map... amazing how fast the car was though that night.

Sounds like you cracked your ringlands. I've never had issues with my dipstick, and compression is super solid. What did the teardown reveal?

Haven't teared the engine down. I concluded worn rings; nothing else. The compression of the engine hot was at 160 across the board before this happened. It was probably too much on the engine and the rings were prematurely worn out targeting 26psi. I tear down the engine if I am home this summer, because I am planning on rebuilding that particular engine for backup.

Also the car never smoked after this happened. I simply drove the car all winter and spring without getting into boost; no issues.

So, did you leakdown test?

Yes it was bad. I don't remember what the results were. Definitely was not a head or head-gasket issue.
Yeah, I'll bet it was seeping past a cracked ringland or something with the pistons. Didn't open the oil filler cap and listen for hissing there?
