Pulled the Whiteline bar (so not fun) and swapped in my OE bar. Gained a couple millimeters but surprisingly Id say the DSS still really dont fit.

I think in this post 10 yrs back I was dealing with a situation much like you are and following up with a wrap.
I currently have had no issues with the repaired area since.
I think Im going to switch back to the OEM sway bar. Last night I tried to search out sway bar bushings with a lower profile, to no avail.
Eventually I will pull the subframe for a suspension refresh with new bushings. Perhaps I will re-engineer for more clearance and reinstall the Whiteline.
Finally got some time to take a swing at the car and got motivated to start the to-do list. Cruise in season has started and It would be nice to get it out to a few. Also, the local car show is in August and Id like to enter the car.

I have the kit from CWT which has the 4X0C unit. It has the heat treated spot known the be the "goto look for" from what I researched.
Are you applying paint before wrapping? Vinyl dosent adhere well to primer. Plus, If you paint it will need time to cure and offgas. 30-60d depending on paint type and application method.
So this guy sees the matrix. Pretty cool that he was able to accomplish that on the fly over a 1 hour phone call.

Get yourself a grease needle (available at CTC or princess). You can inject grease by the seal into the bearing when required. They will probably never fail.

Well, you have a story to tell for sure. Its a long time back, but I remember the early days where the tool box was limited as were the funds. Some times you only replace the bare minimum, sometimes you spend more than you budgeted. Keep at it...you are learning.
