So this guy sees the matrix. Pretty cool that he was able to accomplish that on the fly over a 1 hour phone call.
Im pretty sure this is just the beginning...of a whole new chapter.
Get yourself a grease needle (available at CTC or princess). You can inject grease by the seal into the bearing when required. They will probably never fail.

I really dont have any particular #1 mod (yet) . I was always happy with the way the Speed6 was balanced, Power/Handling/Efficiency etc.
I have concentrated on the areas where Mazda left shortcomings. All the things we know and upgrade, to keep the car alive. All of which I can thank all the...
Well, you have a story to tell for sure. Its a long time back, but I remember the early days where the tool box was limited as were the funds. Some times you only replace the bare minimum, sometimes you spend more than you budgeted. Keep at it...you are learning.
At least now a days there are...

Have you looked at purchasing OEM springs? The OEM spring rates are pretty decent, especially for street driving. If you are looking for some drop, the coils can be clipped. I took 1 round out of a set of new OEM rear coils to get the level I was looking for. I am also considering eventually...
I call it hibernation. I only go outside if I have to, lol. Im thinking of taking my car for a final fill up on Tuesday. After that the daily highs are below the recommended temps for my tires.
Its been a storied year for you. Keep it up, there is always next year to prepare for. Ill see...
The other point I forgot to mention is Bilstein Struts for the Speed6 are monotube. Monotube is the only strut you should look for. Twin tube dont have as long of a service life.
If your springs are still working as required I wouldnt replace them. I would consider Bilstein B6 struts as they are designed for OEM ride height. They may have somewhat differnt valving to OEM, but I dont think it will kill you. If you require springs, look for a spring shop to roll you a...
Whatever you do you will need an alignment in the end. First I would look for components that are obviously worn or damaged. But if you dont know what you are looking for, might be best to send it to a mechanic. An easy way to find problems is to use a pry bar and look for slop or movement in...
I will be putting the car away for winter soon. So its time for final detailing and care. Started with the interior work, cleaning and protecting. The drivers footwell got shampooed and the seats got some needed rejuvenating and cleaning. I love the smell of a cleaned interior.
Some of the front lighting is grounded thru a connection on the left front subframe rail located behind the left headlight. Its a white plastic rectangular tab. Check and clean that bolt. Its an easy first check.
For access to schematic I would suggest you donate (click Donate in bar above)...
