Remove the front axles

I'm doing a GEN2 AWD build that nobody knows about yet and it will be getting a 17x9+40 with 255/40 tires. I've ran that setup on my GEN1 and its a pretty solid setup. From my research I've learned that a straight/vertical wall or slightly stretched is the desired setup because of the physics...

Replying to @dinnerplate The RS rear end was considered but avoided for a few reasons: 1) gear ratio....I never got to a point to validate this but my guess was the gear ratios were different and would require a gear change which would have been expensive and difficult to make happen 2)...

@Rokusek I'm all for community developments and am not sold on only DSS as the only option. The ABS trigger ring does need to be considered with the rear axle though. We can chat details on that if you find another viable axle option
