If you send me the motor and the parts I'll rebuild it at no labor cost to you. Full blueprint sheet will be included. It would take me a little while though as I'd have to work on it in between all the transmission rebuilds I'm doing at the moment.

Been a while.

The new motor lost compression In cyl 2 with around 2700 miles on it. Machine shop that assembled it and did the machine work is no help. So the car is sitting in my driveway for now til I figure out what I wanna do with it.

Hopefully a speedy recovery for you bud.

Just let me know whatever you decide. If I was closer it would be a lot easier. Right now it's starting to slow down at the shop cause of the holiday season. All I seem to be doing is fixing Corvettes or rebuilding 6L80/6L90 transmissions.

Have you done any preliminary tear down of it to figure out what happened? Was it only one specific cylinder that failed?

I haven't touched the car aside from pulling the sparkplugs to find 2 and 3 covered in oil. It's just sitting in my driveway, otherwise. Don't have the time or motivation to dig deeper right now
