What advantages does the ecoboost oil pump bring over the normal MZR unit?

Are you going to use the OEM MZR crankshaft, or the ecoboost crank?

Damn. Those pistons are sexy af. How much boost can you run with that compression ratio? Or how much did you run to make the 640hp?

Sounds like a crazy solid build man can't wait to see how it goes! You should make a post about the xclutch as that is the one I am planning to get as well when the time comes curious if the pedal is much stiffer along with whatever else you learn about it from install etc :)

Oem mzr DISI crank since I have 2 in perfect condition. Otherwise, id grab an ecoboost crank

Quick question about the crankshaft... is it the one from the Focus RS or Mustang Ecoboost that can be used in the Mazdaspeed? Are there any differences or advantages\disadvantages of using the Ford crankshaft?

From what I've heard, the pistons, rods and crankshaft have the same part numbers.
On that note, I've used the one from the mustang.
M-6303-23EB and
LB5Z-6303-B both work.
