Hi, I'm new to mazdaspeeds, just got a speed6 the other day after hunting for a while.

(Pics of modlist from previous owner attached)
After getting it and letting the turbo warm up, we did a few pulls and it was fantastic, but we got a misfire on cylinder 1. Seeing that, we decided to take it easy until we got home, but later, after applying maybe 30% throttle in 6th, we started shooting thick white smoke out of the rear, enough that we couldnt see behind us for a bit. Car shut itself off as we pulled over. When we checked the engine bay, the only thing out of the ordinary was a moderate spray pattern from the radiator cap reaching to the back of the engine bay. We checked engine temps before we got out, but it was completely normal. Coolant was completely empty as well.

Once we got towed home, we did a coolant flush, and swapped from the 1step colder spark plugs to regular spark plugs but the car wouldnt start, even with a jump from another car.

Did cold compression tests the next day,
1 - 140
2 - 60
3 - 40
4 - 100
looks like blown headgasket between 2 and 3

Charge pipe was clean on the inside, so we're thinking it's not turbo related.
Spark test showed us the new plugs weren't working properly, so we switched back to the colder plugs and gave it a crank, and it started after cranking for 4 seconds, but the idle was really rough and slowly dropping until a low of 500rpms.

Next day, did an oil change, and could clearly see beads of water in the oil as well as a swirl as we poured it. Since the car was able to start, we hoped to do some headgasket tests, but the car refused to start again, and the starter was now galloping as well. Trying to use clear flood mode removed the galloping and starting it brought back the galloping. Planning on taking apart the engine to get at the headgasket, since our mechanic quoted us $4k CAD for the repair.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
