10" Ported Box Build

Damn dude, box is looking great! Sorry if I missed this elsewhere earlier in the thread, but what do you estimate the final weight of this thing will be once it's all put together and ready to go into the car?

Thanks! Box is going to weigh way too much!!!

Box alone is roughly 80 lbs., sub is around 50 lbs, amps combined are probably another 30-40 lbs so I'm guessing around 170 lbs or so total being added into the hatch haha

Haha, yowza. That's like having an additional me hanging out in the back while I drive, lol. I'm sure it's gonna sound bonkers-good, though...easily drown out all those creaks and rattles that the Speeds are so fond of developing.

Haha yeah when I realized how much i told myself it's like having a passenger in the hatch

Now I'm debating if I'm going to sound deaden the entire car since I have (2) 50 sq ft rolls laying around in my garage

You are definitely going to love your car once you lay out all the mat materials. Heavy, but will sound like Mercedes driving.

It's amazing what that shit can do... I should finally have my work truck next month then I'll rip out all my interior and lay the mat down and run my new wiring

Always told myself I would never really do a system in the speed since I bought it for a fun/quick little daily oh well haha

What kind of truck you getting? That exciting.

I took over Scott's Gen 1 build. The first thing I'm going to do is just that rip everything apart and put down some sort of mat material. Having a 500whp daily I doubt I would feel the weight.

2017 F150 single cab short bed with hideous yellow wheels... it's out back almost ready boss just hasn't given me the keys yet

15" SSD is in the box wired at 2 ohms running off my ct sounds M750.1 only getting 600 watts

The final sub will be my 15" Q running on my Twisted Sounds amp getting 1500 watts RMS but need to upgrade my electrical before that happens

Really pissed on how shitty the carpet turned out on the port but oh well...

My battery and wiring should be here any day, right now I'm running it on 2 ohms on 600 watts sounds good but you can tell the sub is hungry for a lot more
