Son of a bitch i just got 555r's and wheels now i gotta spend more god dam money...... soooo hows the footprint compared to oem???? I have a st manifold that sits close to the block and a bunch of hoses so i would like to know if the added size came from makeing the whole thing bigger or from makeing the inlet thinner. What are the dimensions compared to stock?

Should offer pretty decent top end gains. Drivability shouldn't be too bad either. I'm hard pressed to believe this will work flawlessly without the tune being changed. It has 44% more area than the stock throttle body so low throttle inputs will require fine tuning.

No ill effects as of yet. Feels great when accelerating, very smooth. Might need to tweak my throttle tables in 1st and maybe 2nd or change the way I drive during slower speeds to keep the car from wanting to take off with light throttle inputs. This is usually in the higher RPMs.

Cold Start-ups seems normal, but the semi warm restarts seem to idle higher longer than before. Also sometimes I notice my normal idle is not dropping as fast as I remember.

so no tune adjustment made for it so far, @Littleloogy ? which mani are you running?

CS mani. And nope, I have not made time to sit down and adjust anything. Good thing too, since I just fixed a leak that I found on the PCV system. I just got her fixed and will go for another test drive tonight.

right on. I'm curious how it'd go to slap one onto stock mani and delay tuning for it until CS mani is also installed, for those of us who have to space out those purchases.

I am confident after driving it last night that you should not have any problems with drivability. Up shifting from 1st though 6th is flawless. FFS w/MegaSpool worked as it should as well. The only time I had any problem was again at lower speeds, more so when I let the throttle off. Maybe the plate closes to fast? This lunging is extremely minor, and the only reason I compain about it s because I spilt coffee on myself not anticipating the car to buck.

This is what I like to hear! Looking forward to receiving mine when it ships

awesome to hear! this enthuses me bc I'd like to get both the manifold and tb, but will definitely have to purchase them separately to rebuild the car parts fund. since I'm not self-tuned, it's good to know that i should be able to get the tb first, slap it right on with no/minimal negative effects, then wait to buy a retune from Will until I've also picked up the manifold.

So besides Littleloogy, does anyone else have any feedback on this thing?

I'm really friggin excited and no one else has posted much about it.

+1 for excellent driving experience, especially when up and downshifting when cruising about. In the worst of stop-and-go traffic, you may note it's a little more touchy than a stock TB, but that's to be expected with a larger diameter throttle body. Honestly it never bothered me though, just be a hair more careful with the clutch and nobody will ever know you have an oversized TB.

I seriously had no complaints with the production unit, it really is 100% plug and play and with the o-ring it changes a three hand job to an easy two hand job (hehe). The TB also has a nice lip around it and at 34psi+ I never had it pop off. IIRC my GT3582R spooled up about 300rpm quicker after install which is honestly pretty dramatic for such a simple change. Not only that but I picked up pretty good gains without any changes to my tune at all. I imagine on a smaller turbo you'll see some quicker spool too and some more power.

All in all I'd 100% recommend this for someone looking to gain a little efficiency and area under the curve.

(feel free to ask any questions as I was one of the testers)
